Special or sensitive personal data

Our website and services are not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. We cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We encourage parents to be involved with their children’s online activities to prevent data being collected without consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at hello@trakstudio.nl and we will delete that information.

Purposes

TRAK processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To contact you by phone or email when needed to deliver our services
  • To analyse how you use our website so we can improve it and tailor our offering to your preferences

Automated decision-making

TRAK does not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How long we retain personal data

TRAK does not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. As a general rule we apply a maximum retention period of 12 months, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary for the performance of our agreement with you.

Sharing personal data with third parties

TRAK only shares personal data with third parties when this is necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies and similar technologies

TRAK uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser on your first visit. We use technically necessary cookies so the site works properly and your preferences can be remembered, and to keep the website maintainable and improve it. We also use cookies that help understand browsing behaviour so we can offer tailored content and advertising where permitted.

On your first visit we inform you about these cookies and ask for consent for non-essential categories, including analytics, as appropriate.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings and delete information already stored there.

Purpose: Analytics cookie; distinguishes visitors (pseudonymous) for website usage statistics.

Access, rectification and erasure

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, object to processing, and request data portability. That means you can ask us to send the personal data we hold about you in a structured format to you or another organisation you name.

Please send requests for access, correction, erasure, data portability, withdrawal of consent or objection to hello@trakstudio.nl.

To confirm that a request for access is made by you, we may ask for a copy of your ID. Black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) on that copy to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, and within four weeks.

Lodging a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
